Looking back...

It's the last day of the year...and at this point of time, people would be remembering did they achieve anything this year, busy writing new resolution for the new year or just plainly waiting for the countdown and celebrate the new year.

As for me, I'm trying to remember what did I write for my resolution at the beginning of this year... hahahaha! And I think I can only remember part of it... but it's okay. I'll just re-write it this year for those that I have yet to achieve. As I was on my way back home yesterday, I heard the DJ said the best resolution for next year is not to write any resolution if you know that you can't achieve it...sounds like a plan right? Anyway, just some random thing that I find it quite true.

As for most what people would think, 2009 passed by so quickly for me that I barely have time to remember what I have done throughout the year. Hmmm...let's see... first year that I have a room of my own (no roomie), almost being homeless, went to Aussie, went to HK, finally went to Genting aft 9 yrs, played roller coasters, went for badminton, went to Broga Hill, cut my hair short for the first time!, spending time with my bro & parents, spend more time than previous years to get in touch with Dee, spend more time with Da on the phone than face to face (kekeke), met EK =)
Looking back, I'm thankful that I end my year with happy things. I thank God for every single one who left their footprints in my life. Thank you all and I love you guys! =D

A cold gloomy night

I should be working right now, I have deadlines to rush for. But I can't seem to concentrate on my work now. I needed someone to talk to, and I did talk to the person that I usually would talk to... I still felt uneasy...

I have been suppressing my feelings for a while now. Not to say that it has been very long time, but long enough to torture me. I thought that as long as I learn to understand more, give you more time to settle down, things will be back to normal...or perhaps better.

I understand that sometimes you may need your own space, your own time to do your things. I thought that I can tolerate with all these things and yes I am still learning. But I believe a lil' care won't take too much of your time. It hurts me to see you being so stressed up and frustrated with work and all I can do is just be a listener and pray for you. There are struggles that I'm facing that I don't know how to solve either. There are times that I want to share my ups and downs with you too but I don't think you notice. I'm just afraid that I will get burn out one day and burst everything out, which I don't want that to happen.

Maybe I have been thinking too much, maybe I have been pressuring myself too much. Maybe sharing it out will be much better than suppressing how I truly felt inside.

Been wanting to blog since last week...but as I lay my hands on the keyboard, my mind went empty and I couldn't stop staring at the screen and thinking what should I blog about. Bahahahahaa!!

2009 is coming to an end soon...and I've been doing alot of thinking lately.
What have I been doing this year? What have I achieve? What have I failed to do? Have I been having fun? Have I been working hard? Have I stop busying around and just take some time off to spend time with people who are dear to me?

To me, it seems that I have just written my 2009 new year resolution few weeks back, but has actually been 11 months since I wrote my resolution... 11 freaking months!!
And usually, this is the time where people will start to look back at their resolutions or some may have even lost it...like me! =p
But I can still remember what I wrote...not all but most of it.
I remember I said that I want to read at least 1 book per month and guess how many books I've read so far? Big fat ZERO! Yaysss T_T No wonder my English is getting worst. Seriously need to do plenty of reading starting next year!

Oh, and guess what? One of my resolution was to do exercise.
I DID.....after so many years....I finally jog 1 time, played badminton for few weeks, climbed Broga Hill.
Sad to say, all the enthusiasm to exercise only lasted for 2 months and now I'm back to the start again = LAZY
Bahahahaahahaha!!!
But hey at least I have some achievement right *pats herself*


I'm running out of things to type...

Was doing my devotion this morning, actually this message was 5 days ago's message. @_@
I only read it today...but hey, it's never too late cuz I felt that God really spoke to me today!

There are two types of friends in our lives; runners and standers. At the first sign of trouble, the runner would bolt—abandoning you to whatever peril you were facing. But a stander would stick with you no matter the circumstances. Unfortunately, you wouldn’t know which kind of friend you had until trouble came.

2Tim 4:9-18 tells us about Paul's final days in his ministry as he awaited death, some who had ministered with him turned into runners and abandoned him to face execution alone; some had run off, but Luke was with him.

Sometimes we really don't know who our real friends are until we see them standing by us whenever we face problems. Rather than being concerned with what kind of friends we have, why not start with ourselves by considering what kind of friends we are.

Just thought I'd like to share it out! =D

Just got back from badminton session...yeap you got it right, I'm not kidding when I say I wanna do sports this time =D

Last week my whole body was aching on the 2nd day. I bet tomorrow will be worst cuz today I played for 2hrs straight. I was practically sweating throughout the play. @_@
But it's all good...I think I'm starting to love it...the game I mean. Haha!

1 resolution - fulfilled!

I went jogging on Wednesday...I know I know, finally right? LOL
Exercise, which includes jogging is one of my resolution since.... forever? Haha!

Anyway, 2 weeks ago while I was having lunch with my colls, we all said that we wanted to keep fit. Chloe needs to stay in shape for her wedding photoshoots next month, Lydia simply needs to diet cuz she ate too much back in KK wahahahaha!! and me, well, I just need to exercise to burn down my fats! And so we agreed that we will jog every Wed after work.

If you know me long enough, I do not own a pair of sports shoe. The last time I had one was 2 years back...which I only put at the shoe rack to collect dust. I NEVER WEAR sports shoes out (ever since college days) except for sneakers.
You will be wondering, no sports shoe, how to jog? Nyek nyek nyek...

Crossroads

It has been a crazy week...like seriously CRAZY.

Just over a night, I receive 3 different phone calls...one after another and I can tell you, if I know what was coming along, I will choose not to listen to any of it.
But I think the one that really left me hangin' was the last call, it was from my mum.
I don't know how or where should I start. I've always wanted to go back to KK to settle down, cuz that's where I grew up, and I love KK! You know, KK BAH!!
...but, I'm not sure if that's where I will be in the future. Mum confirmed with me today again, they will be moving out of KK...like... for good :((((((

Annabel turned 8 last week. Her mum decided to bless her with a birthday celebration with the kids in Children Church after the service. *Awwwwhhhhhh*

The kids got all excited especially when they smelled Dominos.
They kept asking me...

Kids: Teacher, when can we eat the pizza??
Me: After we finish playing games, sing song, listen to stories and some work, then you can eat.

So the moment they started screaming and running all over, I will 'ugut' them. If they don't keep quiet or do their work, they won't be having pizza. Hahahaha!!
I know I'm mean, but that's the only way to keep them silent, else they will not listen to you at all... =S

090426 - CWB & Central

On the second day, we headed to CWB. But before that, we had breakfast in Macau Restaurant. It is one of the famous 'char chan teng' in HK too ( if not mistaken >.< )
The menu contains most of the things that you can see in Kim Gary, slightly different a lil'.


Did I mention that they have set most of the time? Like, breakfast and lunch you have sets. Which is quite affordable and worth it la...cuz they give alot!

This is the combination of 2 sets minus the portuguese egg tart.. LOL
The set that I ordered, comes with macaroni and the pork chop & toast and it cost me about 23HKD...*0.472 to convert to MYR yourself. Haha!

After breakie, off we go to CWB. Alot of people told me that there's nothing much to buy in CWB as most of the shops are mid-range prices throughout.
Indeed it is...CWB does have heaps of small boutiques and clothing stores like the ones in Island Beverley. They do sell loads of nice dresses, tops, accesories but it is not cheap. And you can't really bargain there.
Did went to places like Sogo, Times Square too....been walking in CWB for half a day and believe me I didn't buy a thing!

......*well, except for 1 bag*...... =p

We did alot of walking in HK...I guess everywhere you go you'll see people walking! LOL
But it's nice to walk though...at least the weather there is not as humid as in M'sia so you won't feel sticky or sweaty all over when you get home at night.

After a long day, we wanted to try some dim sum in Luk Yu Tea House in Central. I guess we didn't check the timing. By the time we reach there all the dim sum are sold out! Haha!
And so we ended up eating in Tsui Wah, yet another char chan teng concept.

Met up with Jason in Tsui Wah and we head to Victoria Peak..woot! =)

We're not much of a drinker so went back to CWB for dessert. If I'm not mistaken, Jason brought us to Honeymoon dessert.
Anyway, they have nice mango and durian desserts here. I don't fancy durians so I just tried the Mango Pomelo Sago..which is quite nice =))))

That's all for day 2...
The next day is to me, the most magical day ever throughout my whole HK trip...
